‘If I don’t give you electricity, don’t vote for me again’ – ADC reminds Tinubu of failed promise (Daily Post)
6 hours of power daily.The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticized President Bola Tinubu for failing to fulfill his promise of providing uninterrupted electricity to Nigerians within four years. In a statement by the partys interim spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi he reminded the president of his campaign pledge and urged him to take action. Despite a 240% increase in electricity tariffs the power grid has collapsed 12 times under Tinubus administration leaving millions without electricity and others with only a few hours of power daily. The ADC called on Tinubu to fulfill his promise and warned that Nigerians will not vote for him in a second term if he fails to do so.
