ja for further investigation.The Kogi state police command has confirmed the death of Mr Olabode Abimbola Ibikinle a lecturer at Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba. The lecturer reportedly died during lovemaking with a female student at a hotel in Anyigba. The student Miss Glory Ojochegbe Samuel alerted the hotels receptionist when she noticed the unexpected development. The lecturer was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead. The police have detained the student for further investigation into the incident. The police spokesperson William Aya stated that the student reported the incident and was initially detained in Anyigba before being transferred to Lokojja.

there Are similar cases that have been swept under the carpet,some students are not bold enough to report to the school authorities, this always enables the lecturers to act stupid

i don’t know if Nigerian lectures get any inform of orientation during the onboarding exercises, it’s looking like a norm in the university space. I think their should be sanctions for breaking the laws protecting the students rights
