A farmer in Benue state Nigeria collapsed and died after experiencing a panic attack due to a false alarm of a herdsmen attack. The southern part of Benue state has been plagued and invaded for years by suspected armed herders which has resulted in the death of hundreds if not thousands of farmers and villagers over the years with government taking little or no efforts in safe guarding the lives of people in that region. What measures would you advise the government take to curb the endless killings of people in that region?
