FollowThe FCT Police have refuted claims that a retired immigration officer was killed by kidnappers. According to the police the man was found dead in a hotel room after spending time with a woman. The police stated that there was no sign of struggle or violence and the cause of death is yet to be determined. The deceaseds family had reported him missing leading to speculations that he was kidnapped and killed. However the police have clarified that there is no evidence to support this theory. Investigations are ongoing and the police have urged the public to refrain from spreading false information.
