Obi: Votes Must Count In 2027 (New Telegraph)
The former governor of Anambra State Peter Obi has emphasized the importance of every vote counting in the 2027 general elections in Nigeria. Obi who was the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections stated this during a virtual conference organized by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD). He urged Nigerians to be actively involved in the electoral process and ensure that their votes are counted. Obi also stressed the need for electoral reforms and the use of technology to ensure transparency and credibility in the electoral process. He believes that every vote should count and that citizens should demand accountability from their leaders.
