The collapse of power in Nigeria has been a major issue for decades with frequent power outages and blackouts affecting the daily lives of its citizens. Many blame the privatization of the power sector in the early 2000s for the decline in electricity supply as well as corruption and mismanagement. - 2) With the power sector so broken and scattered, do you think putting electricity back under one national body like ECN help make things better?
- 3) Given how essential electricity is to education, jobs, and healthcare, can we really call it progress if Nigeria hasn’t solved its power crisis?
