JAMB rectifies FUTA graduate’s status after fake admission allegation (Nigerian Tribune)

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has corrected the status of graduates from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) after allegations of fake admission surfaced. The university had been accused of admitting students without following proper procedures leading to their degrees being deemed invalid. However after an investigation JAMB has confirmed that the graduates were properly admitted and their degrees are legitimate. The board has also warned universities to adhere to admission guidelines and avoid admitting students through fraudulent means. This development serves as a reminder for institutions to maintain transparency and integrity in their admission processes.

    This is Nigeria, Many student are sure going through this also but many are scared of lecturers, school board and all like that. We really need to create an environment where people are allowed to speak freely about their issues.
