NDLEA seizes 14 containers of illicit substances at Apapa port in one year (Nairametrics)

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has seized 14 containers of illicit substances at the Apapa Port in Lagos Nigeria in the span of one year. The substances which include cocaine tramadol and cannabis were hidden in various goods such as electronics food items and clothing. The NDLEA has been actively working to combat drug trafficking and abuse in Nigeria and this seizure is a significant success in their efforts. The agency has also stated that they will continue to work with other agencies and stakeholders to prevent the importation and distribution of illicit substances in the country.
