Discussion Points:
Responses- 1) If the government owes GenCos ₦4 trillion and hasn’t paid, how can it justify hiking electricity tariffs for Nigerians who do pay?
- 2) As the government owes GenCos trillions and still expects stable electricity, how long can we pretend this isn’t self-inflicted sabotage of the power sector?
- 3) With ₦4 trillion hanging over the power sector, is it even realistic to expect reliable electricity when the government itself is the biggest defaulter, is it?
