Corruption did not thrive under Buhari – Malami (Daily Post)
In a recent statement the Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami claimed that corruption did not thrive under President Buharis administration. He stated that the government has made significant efforts in fighting corruption including the establishment of anti-corruption agencies and the recovery of stolen funds. Malami also highlighted the implementation of policies such as the Treasury Single Account and the Whistleblower policy as evidence of the governments commitment to tackling corruption. However critics argue that corruption still exists in various sectors under Buharis leadership and that more needs to be done to truly eradicate it.
