Poverty as constraint to Nigerias greatness
Nigeria is a country with immense potential for greatness but poverty remains a major constraint to achieving this potential. Despite being one of the largest economies in Africa a large portion of the population still lives in poverty. This hinders the countrys progress and development as it limits access to education healthcare and other basic necessities. Poverty also leads to social and economic inequalities which can cause unrest and instability. Addressing poverty is crucial for Nigerias growth and success and it requires a concerted effort from the government and society as a whole. Only by tackling poverty can Nigeria truly reach its full potential and become a truly great nation.

Responses- 1) In 2014, the Nigeria economy emerged as the Africa's largest and the best economy all over the continent but ever since then it been a downward spiral economic meltdown which has lead majority of her citizens into abject poverty, which analysis and projection of the world bank has proved that Nigeria is now the headquarter of poverty. Do you think Nigeria can rise back to her glory days?
- 2) In recent years the percentage of Nigeria's citizens keeps rising with the latest estimate from the world bank at about 47% which is expected to rise to 52% by 2026. Is this an indication that Nigeria is gradually losing her battle against poverty?
