Nigerian football star Ahmed Musa expressed his grief over the passing of former goalkeeper Wilfred Agbonavbare describing him as a true giant of Nigerian football. Agbonavbare who played for the Nigerian national team and several clubs in Spain passed away at the age of 48 after battling cancer. Musa praised Agbonavbares talent and dedication to the sport saying that he was a role model for many young players. He also extended his condolences to Agbonavbares family and friends and urged others to remember him for his contributions to Nigerian football. Agbonavbares death is a great loss to the Nigerian football community.
