A former Minister of Women Affairs Aisha Alhassan has called on the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Godswill Akpabio to address the recent sexual harassment allegations leveled against him by Joy Nunieh a former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Alhassan urged Akpabio to take the necessary steps to clear his name and restore his reputation as the allegations have caused a public outcry and tarnished the image of the NDDC. She also emphasized the need for proper investigation and accountability in the NDDC as the agency is responsible for the development of the Niger Delta region.
