Stakeholders in Kogi Central have taken steps to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti citing her alleged lack of representation and performance in office. This move was initiated by a group known as the Kogi Central Development Forum who have accused Akpoti of neglecting the needs of her constituents and focusing on personal interests. The stakeholders have begun collecting signatures and plan to submit a petition to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to initiate the recall process. They believe that Akpotis recall is necessary for the development and progress of the Kogi Central region. The senator has yet to respond to these allegations.
