A Lagos court has sentenced a man to 14 years in prison for attempting to sexually assault a minor. The man whose name was not disclosed was found guilty of the crime and was given the maximum sentence under the law. The court heard that the man had lured the minor who was just 8 years old at the time to his home and attempted to sexually assault her.
