CBEX: EFCC Declares Two More Suspects Wanted In ₦1.3trn Cryptocurrency Fraud Case (New Telegraph)
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have declared two more suspects wanted in a ₦1.3 trillion cryptocurrency fraud case. The two suspects Omotade-Sparks Amos Sewanu and Adedayo Ogundana are believed to be part of a syndicate that has been defrauding unsuspecting Nigerians through a fraudulent cryptocurrency investment scheme. The suspects are said to have lured their victims with promises of high returns on their investments but instead diverted the funds for personal use. The CBN and EFCC have urged the public to provide any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects and bring them to justice.
