Soldiers recently stormed the head office of Ikeja Electric a major electricity distribution company in Nigeria and physically attacked workers over the disconnection of power supply to some military facilities. The soldiers who were reportedly led by a senior officer forcefully gained entry into the office and assaulted staff members causing chaos and disrupting business operations. The attack was in response to the disconnection of power supply to some military facilities due to unpaid bills which the soldiers viewed as a deliberate attempt to sabotage their operations.
